Hummus is a perfect combination of chickpeas blended with Creamy Tahina Sauce, yogurt and lemon giving the perfect hint of tanginess. Very Healthy and Packed with all plant based proteins which make it equally popular among Vegetarians.
Ingredients
Chickpeas boiled - 1 ½ cup (cover removed)
Yogurt – 2 table spoon
Tahina sauce – ½ cup
Lemon – 1 juice
Garlic – 3 big cloves
Salt – 2 tea spoon or as to taste
Olive oil – ¼ cup
Method
For this recipe you need a good quality food processor.
Add chickpeas and garlic to the chopper and give plus to the processer till all the chickpeas are mushy.
Now add yogurt, Tahina, salt, lemon juice and olive oil.
A tip for beautiful texture of hummus is to add few ice cubes while processing the ingredients.
Keep scraping the sides while processing.
Run the processor until all the ingredients are perfectly grinded to a smooth hummus.
Hummus is ready.
