Minced meat cooked with perfect amount of spice and potatoes, a burst of flavors in the mouth of the Meat lover.
Ingredients:
Mutton Mince – 400 grams
Potato – 2 Large
Tomato – 3 Large
Onion – 1 Large (finely chopped)
Coriander Leaves – ½ Cup (For Garnish)
Coriander Stems – 1 Table spoon (finely chopped)
Green Chilies – 2 Large (dipped in Vinegar and finely chopped)
Oil – Half Cup
Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 Table spoon
Green Chilies and ginger - for Garnish
Dry Ingredients:
Red Chili Powder – ½ tea spoon
Turmeric – ½ tea spoon
Salt - 1 tea spoon
Cumin Powder - ½ tea spoon
Coriander Powder - ½ tea spoon
Whole Spice Mix - ½ tea spoon
Black Cardamom – 1 Piece
Whole Black Pepper corns– 1- 12 Pieces
Cinnamon Stick – 1 inch
Fenugreek Leaves – 1 Table
Spoon Dry roasted and coarsely grounded:
Whole Cumin – 1 Table Spoon
Whole Coriander – 1 Table Spoon
Method:
1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Add onion and fry till light golden.
3. Add whole spices, black pepper corns, cinnamon and black cardamom.
4. Add coarsely grounded cumin and coriander.
5. Add coriander stems and green chilies.
6. Now add Mutton mince and cook till it changes the color.
7. Moisture will start coming out of the mince.
8. Add all dry spices and stir it for few minutes on high flame.
9. Add tomatoes and ginger garlic paste.
10. Cook with lid on low flames till the tomatoes are tender.
11. Once tomatoes are soft, mush them into the mince and dry the moisture.
12. Once the moisture is dried up and oil is separating from the mince, add potatoes with ½ cup of water and cook until potatoes are soft.
13. Once potatoes are soft and oil is separated from the oil, add fenugreek leave and cook for another 5 minutes with lid on.
14. Now the Mince is ready to be served.
15. Garnish with green chilies, coriander and ginger.
